You may have noticed that blue lotus has been a staple in my dreamwalking practice and in most of the dream products in my shop. This intoxicating and vibrant blue water lily hails from Ancient Egypt and has been used to create a sense of gentle warmth, euphoria, and sedation with vibrant visions ~ a sense that life itself is a dream. Which makes it the ideal herb to use for lucid dreaming. Generally it is steeped in tea or alcohol (it is in my As Above/So Below Elixir & Sleep Aid, for instance) or smoked, but my Blue Lotus Dream Mist is a smokeless way to enjoy its benefits.

Blue Lotus Dream Mist is crafted from blue lotus and butterfly pea flowers in water and preserved in alcohol and essential oils. The scent is comprised of ancient mystical oils and extracts like rosewood, jasmine, peppermint, sandalwood, cypress, and chamomile and to me, puts you in a dream of a wintry forest covered in a blanket of thick fog. Fresh, but with a dampened woodsy floral note. Use it before dreamwork such as lucid dreaming or astral travel or to refresh your linens, cleanse your altar and tools, or prepare your sacred space.
