We crave that briny aroma as we approach the threshold where sea meets shore, and we succumb to the desire to dip our feet into her nourishing and healing waters.

Containing the finest ingredients of French Green Clay, Organic Spirulina Powder, Organic Green Tea Powder, ethically sourced Irish Sea Kelp Powder, and Icelandic Dulce Seaweed Powder. This clay is offered to you dry to keep it preservative free. On its own, it will last you a long time, but is always best used within 8 months to retain its absolute freshness.

•French Green Clay•

Sometimes called Sea clay, this green beauty comes from the natural deposits in the lush land of France. French green clay has been rich in minerals including iron, magnesium, selenium, silicon, phosphorus, calcium, manganese, and copper. French Green Clay is a strong drawing agent; it is excellent at absorbing oil and removing impurities from the skin.

 

•Spirulina•

Spirulina is a naturally occurring blue-green algae which forms on the surface of lakes. It has been a superfood for centuries, dating back to written record with the Aztecs. Spirulina is one of the richest natural sources of proteins and essential amino acids, as well as an excellent source of vitamins A, K, and vitamin B complex, macro- and micro-elements such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, iodine, selenium, chromium, zinc, and manganese, and essential fatty acids. For the skin, spirulina decreases inflammation, decreases acne build up, encourages the shedding of dead skin cells, and promotes the turnover of new healthy cells, promoting a fresh and youthful complexion.

 

•Green Tea•

The vitamins in green tea, especially vitamin B-2, can keep your skin looking more youthful and radiant. Vitamin B-2 has the ability to maintain collagen levels, which can improve the firmness and of your skin.

Green tea’s anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce skin irritation, swelling, and inflammation . The antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties in green tea may make it an effective ally for acne prone and oily skin. Green tea contains several vitamins, including vitamin E, which is known for its ability to nourish and hydrate the skin, maintain that youthful glow.

 

•Kelp Seaweed•

Ethically harvested on the shores of Ireland, kelp is a powerhouse brown sea algae known for what seems almost endless benefits. Just to name a few for topical use, Kelp draws out toxins and introduces a plethora of healing minerals that reduce inflammation, add moisture to dry skin, minimize pores, and is mildly exfoliating. Kelp is rich in minerals like iodine, magnesium, and iron. Kelp is widely loved for skincare for a reason.

 

•Dulce Seaweed•

Ethically harvested from the icy cold waters near Iceland, Dulse has a long history of traditional use for promoting beautiful healthy skin. Another well loved seaweed known for its antioxidant properties and rich polysaccharide content to nourish and tighten the skin. Externally, powdered Dulse is commonly used to make an exfoliating scrub to get rid of impurities and dead skin cells.

A few moist considerations to add to your clay mask other than water are as follows:

Avocado, Apple Cider Vinegar, Plain Yogurt, and Aloe Vera Juice. Tea! Yes, tea. Make yourself a cup of Chamomile or rose tea, strain and mix into your clay.

 

 

The Beauty Ritual

Mix the ingredients well and keep adding a few drops of water at a time until you get a thick, yet smooth paste. Take care with this when adding the liquid so you don’t end up with soup, if it’s too thin then it won’t work properly for your beauty ritual. Apply a layer of the Goddess of the Sea Clay Mask to you face, leave your mask on for about 15-20 minutes. You will feel a warming and cooling sensation on your face. The mud will begin to dry and your face will start to tighten. Rinse your face with warm water to gently wash away the mask, a warm washcloth rested on the face it absolute bliss.

Your skin will feel kissed by the Magick of the Sea with skin looking radiant and rejuvenated. Use the mask 2 times per week to keep your face free from toxins, and feeling fresh like the Sea air. Please note that these ingredients natural sea and land derived. This blend smells exactly like you would think, it is earth and brine at its finest to nourish your beautiful skin.
