The Inanna Rosary is a hand crafted ritual tool of pathworking as we walk with Inanna on her journey of descent.

The poem Inanna’s Descent teaches us of the power of surrender and ego death. Inanna passes through the seven gates of the underworld, at each gate handing over all that ties her to how she defines herself. It is in the depth of Kur that Inanna meets her sister/shadow side Erishkigal “naked and bowed low” who still sees ego within her. Ereshkigal kills her sister Inanna hanging her on meat hooks. She is later resurrected and returns from the underworld, passing through all seven gates, this time reclaiming all she handed over now in Attunement with her highest good. Inanna then ascends and becomes Queen of Heaven.

We folllow this path through the beads of this tourmaline and obsidian rosary, every seventh bead represents a gate, these special beads are carefully crafted with rose oil.  A single owl vertebrae hangs in the drop, the owl a creature of death/rebirth and sacred to the Goddess Inanna/ Ishtar who is depicted at its centre.
