Morbid London
Every city has a dark side... and some are much darker than others. London has been described as "a spectral city, so filled with imitations of its past that it haunts its own inhabitants".

From the toturous Tower of London to the vampire-crazed digging up of Highgate Cemetery, there are endless tales of spirits and specters eminating from the Big Smoke.

Whilst re-visiting my birthplace and thinking about the new collection I'd been working on, it seemed fitting that I paid homage to my hometown and the macabre history it holds. 💀

LADY LUCY
In the heart of Tottenham, North London sits Bruce Castle, the former home of the King of Scotland. This castle (which is actually a manor house) holds many dark secrets that have given birth to ghostly sightings and reports of paranormal activity.

At one time the castle was home to unhappily married Lord Coleraine and his wife Lady Constantina Lucy. Over time, their relationship gradually got worse and she was allegedly locked away under the clock tower in a small room.

Miserable in her confinement and driven mad by the clocktowers constant ticking, Lady Constantina Lucy jumped off the balcony with her child, killing both of them.

The first ghost sighting of Constantina was recorded in a newspaper article that was published in March 1858. It’s said that her ghost can be seen around the time of November 3rd, which is believed to be the anniversary of her death.
Some visitors have even claimed to have seen the Ghost of Constantina staring out of the window.
