Magnesium is pretty important! Unfortunately, magnesium deficiency is common. Our bodies need magnesium for over 600 enzymatic reactions. We use it for energy metabolism, protein synthesis, as well as brain, heart, and muscle health. Some things can cause magnesium deficiency like modern, industrialized farming practices that deplete our soil of important minerals, including magnesium. Stress, sugar consumption, alcohol and caffeine use, as well as prescription drugs also cause our bodies to use up magnesium faster.

Since straight magnesium brine can tingle and itch some when you first use it, I have added aloe vera and castor oil to buffer the sting! Just make sure to shake vigorously before each application to incorporate the oils together.

 

Castor oil is also traditionally used for its healing properties against dry skin, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, and other skin conditions. Inflamed skin is crying out for castor oil. The oil can hydrate the skin and fight bacteria at the same time, helping to fight against itching and irritation, which can be helpful in this specific product!

 

HOW TO USE:

Shake well and simply apply to the skin: arms, chest, neck for anxiety & stress, temples for headaches/migraines, directly onto areas with sore muscles, massage in, and let dry. May also apply to the torso for digestive discomfort.

 

I prefer to apply the spray to the base of my feet in the morning and at night as a part of my self-care routine. Our feet are known as "super absorbers" so the magnesium is easily absorbed through this method.

Start with a few spritz 2x a day, and gradually work up to spraying it on your body. Never spray on fresh shaved skin. Safe for daily use.

 

Do not apply to irritated, blemished skin or wounds. If a tingling or stinging sensation occurs, it will dissipate over time. You can also apply a natural moisturizer before or after application to decrease the tingling sensation. Wash hands after application.
