Flying ointment is a hallucinogenic ointment said to have been used by witches in the practice of European witchcraft from at least as far back as the Early Modern period, when detailed recipes for such preparations were first recorded.
 
Limited handmade product : Every October I have a tradition of making witches flying ointment. Flying ointment has been traditionally used for spiritual work in astral and dream realms for centuries— to fly on sabbaths and meet other witches. It can be used before magical workings to induce what I call the "mindset of magic", anointing the altar broom, or before bed if you do dream work.

This formula was created by studying medieval traditional recipe of my great-grandmother who was a grey witch in Andalusia. This flying ointment recipe and consists of aconite, deadly nightshade, mandrake, brugmansia, datura, mugwort, poppy, and ash.
